The Fujitsu Digital AR Workbench Project is an application to support the concept of Industry 4.0 that improves productivity and greatly reduces operation and training times on the manufacturing shop floor. The application can handle multiple products and helps solve the challenges of assembling highly customized system configurations. This demo shows how the technology aids in the SFP installation process, providing guidance with augmented reality indicators as to positioning and placement of each SFP component in the physical unit.
Using Microsoft HoloLens and Fujitsu AR software, the Digital AR Workbench Project not only achieves a 20% time reduction in the overall assembly process, it reduces error potential and improves quality.
